My brain is having trouble processing that background. Love the fore- and midground. And I'd probably love the background, if my brain would process it.

thanks, I plan on going back in a couple of weeks, most of the folks that were photographing and I saw a lot of them, were photographing wild life, saw a guy get attacked by a turkey which was pretty amusing, he kept getting closer and closer, the turkey had already "fanned out" he still kept tryng to get closer, turkey had enough and went after him. lol. No large formatters up there as usual, one time about 4 years ago I saw a guy shooting a 4x5 up there,
Ist actual LF neg, 5X7 today. This the biggest thing and most open land for miles. Soon this view will be gone.

first two images Ive scanned using my very old cheapo ebay special epson 1240u. no 5x4 neg holders so they have been scanned by placing the neg on the scanner method and tape to insure some level of flatness less than ideal i know but needs must adapt and overcome and all that.
