Very nice Ken.

I claim to. But there is evidence to the contrary.

cperce and mikebarger, thanks for the kind words.
Here's one in color. 4x5 E100VS with a 75mm Nikon. I let the background go a little soft to see what would happen. It looks pretty decent small, but it wouldn't make a good large print. I like the painterly palette of colors.

This should probably go in Mistakes, Good and Bad. I forgot to stop the lens down after focusing, and realized it just after making this exposure. But the photo at the correct f/32 suffered from camera jostle, and that one was ruined. I'm really quite surprised at how narrow the depth of field remains in this photo even at the distant pitch pine. I can't say that I'm all that unhappy with the result. It's really intriguing in a large display, where it's unsharp where one doesn't expect it to be. My wife stared at it for a while, trying to figure it out.
This scene was doomed to be represented this way. I also tried a fisheye shot with the Pentax, and that frame overlapped the following frame and was ruined. (Two of my Pentaxes are now in the repair shop.)
This photo was overexposed by four stops, and was dense as a piece of slate. But the Epson did pretty well in punching through the density, and the 160C did pretty well in holding the highlights. If I'd used Velvia, this might have been a clear piece of plastic.

The fundamental Pennsylvania farm-scape.
Digital version came up much better and I didn't have enough film shots left for this shot so it ended up on a paper negative.
