Nice one Ken!
Great work, Ken!
"Is that a scan of a print or a scan of the negative?"
It's a scan of a negative, toned digitally in Photoshop using the Fill Layer method.
It's good for making inkjet prints or JPGs for the web, because you can tone them any way you like, and it's quite fast to do.
The real print will be either Pt/Pd or Carbon Transfer if all goes well.
Looks good Ken. I'm going to study the link you provided. Last week or so I contact printed an 8x10 negative I made last year of an old coastal fortification on the Golden Gate on a foggy, overcast, and windy day and toned it with Kodak Brown Toner and selenium. The paper was RC and not the greatest for toning but it imparted a very slight brown tone to the image with a hint of pink. It really improved the image in my eye.

I printed this last night at grade 3 on Oriental VC Glossy RC. Toyo 45CF, 90mm Grandagon all riding on a Gitzo Series 0 tripod.

I love the composition here, but I find the overall darkness of the image to be a bit oppressive. That treatment feels very right for many of the other forest scenes you've posted, Ken, but even on dreary days fresh snow imparts a brightness to a scene that is not conveyed with your treatment. I did as you often do - I copied the image and just brighted it a bit and felt it helped.
Just a thought - in the end it is of course your image!
