Thanks, Sam! I usually have very little ego when it comes to my own work (I tend to think it all sucks in one way or another). This one, though, I was very happy with. It's always nice when that happens.

@Albert Bregnani:
I love your image of the Dolomites. It's so interesting how each mountain range has its' own unique profile. As an American I am so used to looking at images of North American mountains; the Sierra Nevada, the Tetons, etc., but rarely see landscape photography from other countries. I so enjoy seeing how photographers in other countries capture their own magnificent places.
Thought I'd chip in with this one for a recent family holiday (thats vacation to people west of the atlantic)

150mm Symmar-S, Velvia.
Wow, that's superbe, Dave!
Dave - Beautiful... The image is just dripping with velvia goodness! :) Great lines and perfect light,
Outstanding rich color and texture.
Here is one from a Utah trip. This is the view from Dead Horse Point State Park of the Colorado River.
Taken with my Arca-Swiss 4x5 on Velvia 100

Dave, I like this in color but with that sand texture, you might try converting to black and white too.
