I dashed off an 8x10 for scanning and there is a big diagonal line in the sky that doesn't exist in my better prints but regardless

Paper negative made on Fomaspeed 312 RC paper. Mad with my DIY camera with a DIY lens 83mm f40. Exposure was 20 seconds at f40. The lens produces a circulatr image, the diameter is 160mm.
mikezvi ! Nicely done.

I have no idea what happened to the original poster, perhaps he found that LF was not he expected, but personally I find this thread one of the most interesting, and inspiring one going.
Also, to be honest, a bit intimidating, as the quality of the images here are awesome, in my humble opinion, that is, but it doesn't turn me off, it makes me want to try harder!

Ken,
I agree with Jim, but it's such a beautiful photograph otherwise. What if you photoshopped the limb out? I don't think anyone would notice. I really think it's worth a try before you throw it into the duds collection.
I know. I'm being sacrilegious or so a good friend says I am. To me photography is an art form, not a true representation of reality.
