Thanks Frank. I always enjoy looking at your photos when they come up on flickr.

Hi Ken,
The reflection of the large branch at the bottom bothers me, It's a shame It can't be cropped without taking out the reflections of the tops of the farther trees.

You're right - and if we crop the bottom sufficiently, the image then looks flat, tonally and perspective-wise. Rather ho-hum.
So I think this one goes into the duds collection. ;)

Use some pencil on the negative and 'clone' it out!

Re: Large Format Landscapes
I just took a look back at the start of this topic/thread. It was almost 3 years and over 4000 posts ago. The guy (eddo123) started it at the outset of his LF adventure asking for images to wet his appetite for LF landscape whilst awaiting delivery of his kit. Judging from his comments on his 'For Sale' posts, he gave up LF not too long after he got his kit. At least some of it was sold through this forum.
I found that I was the first to respond to his original request. I was just wondering what we might have done to discourage him? Or more generally, just how encouraging or how off-putting are threads like this. Any ideas anyone, particularly relative newcomers, are you encouraged or put off?
If you're there eddo123 do tell us ...
