That comment is so flip it's hard to even take it seriously. Just to give one simple example of just how different large format is to 35mm film: 4x5" film is 20x larger than 35mm which allows it to yield a much finer enlargement. Hard to argue against this simple principle.

Which comment are you referring to? Try quoting sections you are answering to so the rest of us can see your train of thought.

I think oftentimes folks hit page one and post #9 and decide to respond (especially new folks who get dumped on the first page of the thread).
