Re: Large Format Landscapes
Thanks everyone.
I DID say it was an experiment ;). I guessed at F64 as the shutter is only marked to F45. The lens stops way past the F45 mark though. It may be F90 for all I know. I'll definitely be experimenting more with this as I can see its usefulness as a somewhat soft focus telephoto lens.
Re: Large Format Landscapes
Here's one more of the experimental shots using just the front element of the Ektar 203mm F7.7 lens. These negatives were EXTREMELY thin. I had to do a lot of work to try to get anything out of them.

Re: Large Format Landscapes
Shot with Chamonix 5×8" Large Format camera and Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 210mm f:4.5 lens on 5×7" sheet of Adox CHS 25, developed in Rodinal (R09) 1:50.
With this photo, I was not sure about the correct exposure parameters. The difference between sunlit snow and dark trees in the shade was great, way over the possibilities of digital chips. I expected the film to cope well with it, but the end result still surprised me...

Thanks a very nice photo, NiNo... The light is wonderful...
Re: Large Format Landscapes
Because the Landscape itself is not very overwhelming over here, I want to learn to focus on the small things of nature. I have to admit, that this feels quite difficult for me. Here are 3 attempts, all taken on Velvia 50 with a Apo-Sironar-N 210.

Re: Large Format Landscapes
Awesome, awesome, AWESOME! Video is great too. The red filter really made the second shot. Just outstanding!

Both were shot on 4x5 Ilford Delta 100 using a #25 red filter. Developed in Ilfosol-3 and scanned using an Epson V700.
