Love this landscape! I hope to visit this neck of the woods someday soon. Looks like an amazing photographic destination.

This is a view from where Lake Helen outflows into West Tensleep Creek, high up in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. Absolutely lovely and overlooked area, and I can't wait to visit again.
Jemery, this offers riches of varied details that keep the eye moving to discover new features. Well done.
Yes, the two bottom corners are a subtle, but effective addition. You are posting some very nice images!
Growing up in Casper, my first backpack trips with my dad (always to go fishing!) were in the Bighorns, then I graduated to the Wind Rivers.

Great photo jemery. I love how the rock in the foreground and the grass frame the reflection in the water of the lighter sky and clouds.

I feel very fortunate to have visited the Bighorns on that day. The weather for hiking was fantastic, cool and just a light mist of rain. I saw a couple of moose, took four 4x5 images that I am very fond of, and had a lovely meal along the shores of the beautiful Lake Helen. I hope to return one day for more extensive photography.
If only I didn't live in south Florida!
