thanks. I am really happy with how the negatives turned out. I did not have to do a lot of PS on them.

I don't think they'll let me move the bridge :D
There's a lot of nice photos to be had along this little stretch of river. Still got a few i'm working on.
Would also love to see some of your pictures printed and framed and hanging on my wall. Lived in Australia, on the Gold Coast, for a while. Spent a lot of time photographing around QLD and NSW. Such beauty i seem hard to find here in England. Unfortunately it was before i got into large format. A reason to go back i think!

I like the composition and the way you've seen the subject matter but not the way it's been printed. For my tastes it needs more contrast especially in the highlights. When I look at your excellent "b&w - outdoor" prints on your web site I don't see anything else printed like this. So why this one? Not that everything should be printed the same way if a different way works, this particular way just doesn't work well for me. Perhaps your idea was to make a moody print but to me it doesn't achieve that, it just looks like a flat print. But I recognize that I'm viewing it on my monitor, I'm not actually seeing the print. Perhaps the actual print looks a lot different. Or perhaps we just have different ideas about how this print should look. And since it's your print, not mine, I'll shut up.
Hi Brian,
I appreciate the comments and agree completely. This neg was unknowingly underexposed and not compensated for when developing. The resultant neg is really flat. This took a lot of curves in Photoshop to get this much out of the scan. This one won't make it onto my website for the reasons you've stated. I can pull the highlights out more, but it starts to get pretty ugly. I liked the subject matter enough to post it here, though. I managed to forget to pull the dark slide on the second, more "perfect" composition, so this was all I got. I was and am bummed!

Those are splendid Dadan.
I agree! Those light spring greens come and go in a very short time, and the forests blend into one tone after that. Well done!
Thanks!
Yes, there are only few days to do it:)
