Decided to try panoramic using 4 x 5 films. Not as easy as using digital. This was done in April 2015.

Some from Isle of Arran, Scotland, May 2015. Arran is a small island (25 x 10 miles) in the Firth of Clyde often called "Scotland in Minature" as the southern part is rolling pasture and the northern part is mountainous. The reason is that the "great fault" which separates the real Highlands from the real Lowlands runs diagonally across Arran. As a consequence there's some great geological features on the island and it's a fantastic place to visit. Anyway, some images - all with Chamonix 045N-2, black and white with Ilford Delta 100 and colour with Portra 160.

Thanks! You are very kind.
Looking good and it looks somewhat familiar! My ex-wife is from the Comboyne Plateau, NSW, and there is a similarity.
Panoramas are interesting -- one needs to be spot-on, or go for the other extreme and not worry too much about it! Too bad one cannot link up the sky the same way with horizontals.
Graham,
First pic is great, very detailed at the stone texture, and at the same time very rich grey tones at the background. Like that.
The last, other view, color, but very nice also, rich blues, good texture at the water splashed stones, the rain coming, amazing.
Cheers,
Renato
