Re: Large Format Landscapes
This is a shot of an old family cemetery seen from North Carolina Highway 226. The object is a rolled hey bale not yet collected from field.
Shot with an 8x10 Deardoff with splitter and the lens, a 250mm Ektar.

Metered at 4mins. Exposed at 9mins 30secs on the Delta 100. Developed with HC110 Dilution E.
Always wondered how those ethereal shore images were done but never asked. Water like mist yet rocks sharp as a tack. During the day with a heavy ND filter???

Thanks a lot Nana, I have the Epson V700 with the plastic supports set to +. I made a couple of tests and found it to be a bit sharper than the default setting.

cropped from 8x10 Fomapan 100/PMK, B&J 8x10 field camera, Symmar-S 300/5.6 at f8 tilted up to blur the background even more. Shooting into the sun at R Waldo Tyler preserve/marsh in Thomaston, ME. scanned on epson v700 from the negative. Nice shadows in the foreground, nice bokeh from the sunsparkling ice chunks in the background.

I have a V700, too. I use that setting, too. I bought, last year, a Howtek 4500 drum scanner for a ridiculous price (150€) but I'm still waiting for a scsi board for my computer... :(

Beautifull, David, you got that snow in the "mouche" level...

Beautiful Nana, do you use a center filter?
