Re: Large Format Landscapes
Storm rolling in over the east ridge of Amicalola Falls State Park. It was pouring rain and I had just a small umbrella with me. I need to buy one of those big golf umbrellas. The wind was whipping up too.

Bryan, there is so much that is good about that image.
Re: Large Format Landscapes
Thanks Randy! I not totally sold on it. I broke the "rule" about centered horizons and I wasn't sure there was much visual interest beyond the dark clouds (burned in heavily to look as it did then and as I pre-visualized for print). Might try making a little 11x14 enlargement of this negative in the darkroom.
Re: Large Format Landscapes
Bryan, I like the composition. For me, I would like to see more contrast/lower key rendition of the lighter clouds.

Thanks, so you mean something like this?

I'm a sucker for high-contrast clouds, so this is a bit more subdued. An interesting idea.

Thank you Renato...I can see some similarities within the Southern Hemisphere...
Re: Large Format Landscapes
Bryan, very nice. It must have been nice to be there as the weather changed.
