Re: Large Format Landscapes
This is an open space park near my home called Ute Valley Park. Its a beautiful park, but a difficult place to photograph because it is ringed by large homes and commercial buildings. On this particular day, I finally achieved a photograph that offers a large view of the core of the valley thanks to the low fog.

Re: Large Format Landscapes
This thread is wonderful. I could write praise for every image here. There I was thinking about expressing my admiration for the frozen leafs and that wonderful spot of snow covered plains peeping through in mrladewig's park... then I see Tri Tran's atmospheric forest scene and Jiri's light composition. I don't know what to say more, but I enjoy seeing these excellent pictures every day!

Sascha you are right, I also enjoy coming back to these threads, for inspiration, and for (mental) refreshment...
David, thanks a lot. And you know, I've really been thinking if I should post that one or not. I was not sure, it could have been better... But the light was changing so fast. (That's not to excuse, that's to explain :) ).

Another one from the New Zealand:
I have to admit that it did require some PS work (the shot was somewhat underexposed) and I am sure there is room for improvement, but well.
A bit of description is here

Very beautiful image Tri. The luminous fog pops in this image.
