Large Format Landscapes

Alex, I like the tilted shed and cattle ramp.
Great tones on the ramp too.
And the tree is dramatic in that same image too!

I took this photo during a recent Eastman Museum dry plate workshop.
This is a scan of a 4x5 glass plate negative, hand coated with silver bromide emulsion.
The camera used was my Graflex Super Graphic with Optar 203mm lens.

Good feeling of depth to the image.
Especially interesting regarding the glass plate neg.

Thanks! I think the overcast, rainy day provided just the right conditions for this color-blind (blue sensitive only) emulsion.

A recent visit to Smith Rock State Park near Bend, Oregon.
Shot on FP4 with a #25 red filter, using my 8X10 Deardorff w/240 mm Symmar-S lens. IIRC it was about 1 second exposure at F45.5
