Wow!!!

The first one in particular is outstanding, with a graphic quality that reminds me of futurist drawings - accentuated by including only the lower part of the larger tree in the background.

Thanks David. These two are among the disappearing head-pruned style of vineyards that look like people waving their hands in the air. Most are trellised now and have irrigation tubing hanging everywhere (quite ugly). I drive by them all the time and get fascinated with the patterns, and then when I stop to shoot, they often disappear. The first shot is not an artistic triumph by any means, but I do credit myself with having the nerve to set up an 8x10 (w/5x7 back) next to a fairly busy highway, even knowing the shot had... limitations.
Stunning work on the glacier, by the way. How did you get to that vantage point, David?

Recent shot of Ahwiyah Point from Mirror lake,Yosemite N.P. MLK weekend was beautiful and was my first trip to see Yosemite covered in snow.

From the town of Fiesch, there's a ski lift system that takes you almost to the summit of Eggishorn (2926m). From there, it was about 10 minutes walk across the head of a ski run, and a short scramble up some rocks. The only problem was that there was a sheer drop of about 100 metres from the rocks, and I had about one square metre to stand in. Further up the glacier is an area where four glaciers meet - Konkordiaplatz - and I may try to walk there in the summer.

Thank you!
That Cambo camera, has the wrong name...they should change the "Legend"...
it should be called the Cambo MT 810!
MT would stand for Mike Tyson...;)
Anyway, it's a good camera, simple to shoot with.
