Very cool--y'all's flatrock granite outcrops are a neat ecosystem that remind me a lot of the cedar glades here in Tennessee. I could definitely see a Porter-esque series, and scampering up Yonah a couple of times a week with your 8x10 kit would no doubt keep you limbered-up.;)
Yeah that'd definitely whip anyone in shape! I suggested Yonah recently for a team-building outing at work but they weren't too keen on that hike! :)
There's another mountain nearby with better access called Arabia. There are some interesting red flowers blooming. Unfortunately my work schedule is killer till mid-May so I'll probably miss it.
