Thank you friends, it's very pleasant to read such comments. Unfortunately I do not have a lens that is wider than 90 mm, and there was no way to move back. I have the same frame on the chrome V50. And there was still a frame on Mamiya 7 with 43 mm.
I will continue to upload photos.
A wider lens for this shot would have merely included unnecessary detail to distract from the beauty of the waterfall. Even the rocks in the foreground do this.
Yes, I understand what you said. Unfortunately the place is very touristy, when you get there you lose the desire to look for the perfect composition. I was lucky to have 4-5 minutes when groups of tourists were replaced and there were a couple of people nearby. When there are Irritating factors during photographing, it is very difficult to concentrate on the ideal frame construction. I want to shoot a scene and walk away.
I apologize for my English, I hope you, as a large-format photographer, understand me=)
Just developed this one today. Its been sitting in a film holder for 6 months or so.
Shot using a Zone VI 4x5 and Foma 200 film. Developed in Pyrocat MC for 8.5 minutes.
