I think this ties the image together in a much more cohesive fashion. I so often see just the opposite where the giant scale of the foreground elements divide the image. These are in my way of thinking much more subtle and refined examples of the technique then you commonly see.

After getting whacked by your big yellow hammer, I should have waited until my head cleared before posting the first time. LOL! I should have used all the second post's wishy-washy words the first time like I usually do. Internet manners and all that.

It's remarkeable that you managed to find a view without any gas wells in it! (Disclaimer: I'm a former Wyomingite whose upbringing was funded by oil money at both the family and public level.)

Harley, your inbox is full, so instead of waiting I'll just post this here...
Hello, Harley,
I am sorry for the my tone and the content of my last few posts. I was out of line.
Trying for a witty light-hearted tone when one is under a lot of stress, just does not work. The lightness is too difficult to achieve. But there is always the delete button, or just not hitting 'Send'...so that is not an excuse.
Again, I am sorry for my rudeness.
Yours,
Vaughn

It's just an idea. I do like really like this photo. You did a great job!
