This is a test print that I made a few days ago. Giant Redwoods in California. 4x5 with a 75mm lens and Tmax 100. The household lights make the print look yellow, but I haven't toned it that color - neutral black and white. The highlight areas between the trees were burned in, the large trees on the sides were dodged, but not enough so I locally bleached those areas (K-ferrocyanide and K-bromide), then fixed followed by a very light selenium tone followed by more bleach to make the highlights and shadow detail come out a little more. Selenium doesn't usually allow more bleaching, but with a very light application it can be done to bring out a little more shadow detail, and make the highlights "pop" a little.
Not finished yet - the little sliver of light in the upper right hand corner is distracting, so will burn that closed, and the dark area under the left of the fallen log needs more shadow detail, so will try to give it the same treatment as the side trees (local bleaching). I may do a sulfide tone (brown), but haven't decided yet.

Marco, this is a very handsome image indeed.
This is another contact print I've scanned, also from Rocky Mountain national park. I have lots to learn still (like not scratching the print during processing) but I'm hooked on making prints!
