Despite not being the "nicest sunset" that's still some pretty sweet light!

Got back last week from a 3 week trip to Norway, and I had my first run at developing and scanning today, with many runs still to go. Beautiful country and awesome scenery.

Nice work, John and Thomas. I'm with Luc on the crop idea, Thomas - that is a beautiful image. Minimalist, but with more interest in the sky than you would have with just fog.
I agree..Both John and Thomas have very arresting landscapes. I kind of like the earth in the left bottom corner of Thomas' island photo. Without it, it becomes more of an abstraction. There is nothing wrong either way, I just like the feeling of being 'grounded' by the earth in the corner. I think it also adds a feeling of depth. I love both of the photographs...Robbie

Luc, John, h2oman, Robbie, Sergei: thank you.
As for the cropping of the corner: I have thought about it, yes. The image will be pure and almost abstract, but with a loss of depth. And I found that I like it better with the feeling of depth. But I guess it is a matter of taste.
