RM,
Thought you might enjoy this view of Blanca Peak from the opposite (north)side of your view. A nice, cool draught for a hot summer. Blanca Peak from the upper Huerfano valley after an October storm. 8x10 Delta 100, 240 Fuji.-Chris

Very Nice! Looks like one can get to that area (partially) by possibly County Road 580?

Yeah, hit 580 out of Gardner and after you pass through the Singing River ranch it turns into FR408 which leads through the Nat'l. Forest to the Lily Lake trailhead at about 10,000 ft elev. It's not a jeep trail though high clearance is recommended and if you have low range you will use it. There is about three or four miles of virtually flat valley walk til the climb up to the cirque where Lily Lake lies - splendid views the whole way. There are four fourteeners in the Blanca massif which you can climb if your'e so inclined! - Chris

Re: Large Format Landscapes
Thanks Steve.
Some of those fissures ran under the moss, all the way up the trunk, without a break.
And OH how it rained that evening...
