Robert, I like this composition - the rough backbone exposed in contrast to the soft weathered country area. By the way, similar bony structures can be found on the flanks of the Spanish Peaks south of Great Dunes Nat. Monument. If you have a chance check that area out.

The intensity of the elegance in this image is so deep, my vertebrae ache.

This is the Moon in the sky, because the photo was taken at night with an exposure time of 3 minutes, just because of a shift during the long exposure the Moon has an elongated shape.

Nana, that's pretty strong even seen small on web... It must be terrific as a print... Perfect composition, and tonality...

I'm not sure if you refer to my image above, if it is the case, thank you, very much, if not, excuse me for my presumption.... ;-)

Thank you, Jiri
I made this image last month and this week, it was printed in 100cmx80cm, not as I would like (fiberbase, enlarged in one of my Durst 138s or 139G) but in inkjet. I don't have room enough to make such large prints, nor paper roll (Clyde Butcher, lend me your darkroom!!!!).
This is one of 12 photos I made for the city hall of my home town, (a small town, 50 km from Lisbon). 12 photos made on several beaches of the "concelho", wich is a political administration that has some villages under administration of the City Hall, it's kind of a very small state.
The photos are 100cmx80cm (40"x 30") and will be mated and framed with exotic wood frame.
