I am not good in photoshop and the only thing I do is spot/dust removal and resizing. I used to shoot Kodachrome, and once the shot is taken, the framing and exposure are final...

Is there a little lens flare along your horizon about 1/3 of the way from the left to the right? I see what looks to be some out of place light areas there. Just wondering.

No Diane, there is no flare at all, in this photo, however, I must say that this does not happen often, normally I have flare problems with this lens, because it's extremelly wide.
Flare, with this lens, when it happens, it leaves no room for doubt!!!!:)
Anyway, I darkened the sky a lot, it was extremely bright, ( I will do the same burn in the enlarger, obviously) I think that white "spot" is one of the brightest clouds reflected on sea surface.
