Harley, I'll try to do as you said, see if I like it. I shot it with a 6x6 camera (no sky) and wasn't so excited about the results though

Here is a Lake Superior image from this past fall. I was trying to capture the interesting clouds and the rather unusual color. Not sure if it works. Taken with a Fuji 300 with my 8x10.

After repeated beatings by river floods, this giant trunk is enjoying a welcome rest.
