You appear to have fogging and/or have set the black point too low. See the left/mid part.
I'd also be tempted to crop off the bottom 20% (middle of the log) and the top 5% to give a square composition; at that point I think I'd rather like it.
Hope that helps...
Re: Large Format Landscapes
thank you polyglot, I was seeing the same effect, it is just my poor post processing

One point: try to let the curves/contrast stuff at the least procedure in your pp chain, leaving one millimeter or two of curve at extremes untouched - uncle flickr will do it for us as well color space conversion (from anything to sRGB) stretching one step further the contrast of the pic,
I'm glad you're working hard and improving each day. My bet is your LF work has arrived at your digital work level with this pic.
Keep posting,

Thanks Renato. I didn't know that about flickr. I'll have to do some experimenting to see what is the best method for internet viewing. I know the images don't really compare to the larger image I see in Photoshop.

Thanks! I try to not get stale so lately I've been going very far back into the wilderness, which gets rough with a big camera! Ain't no way to "photograph from the car" in the swamp. I guess by that measure Weston wouldn't have found much to shoot in the swamp...
Anyway, in the words of the great Billy Mays, But wait, there's more! Here's a shot on PanF+, semi-stand in Rodinal:
