Thanks for your thoughts Vaughn! It was great seeing Geir's prints on your wall. I found a website with some of his fisheye images.
I definitely will be thinking about presentation. I did get a circular mat cut, inside of a square mat, and I like the look. But there's lots of options to try. I also had some time this afternoon to shoot more circular images that I need to develop here tonight...
Another:
Laurel Cathedral
Wildcat Mountain, from Hogpen Gap on the AT
Same setup as before

Great addition Corran! Love these circular images. Make them often with the Mamiya Fish Eye.
The Mamiya 37mm was my initial plan, what with the shutter. But I had the Pentax already so went with it, for now. Would love to see some of your circles!
One more, same location, not sure which I prefer yet:

I find each to be wonderful...but prefer the bilateral symmetry of the first. Bryan these are truly fantastic! Looks like you are really on to something with these!
Thanks John! The symmetry definitely works well with the frame. I love the sun shining with little sun stars through the background in the other though....
I'd say the first is the stronger composition, the second has more of a chaotic appeal.
