Re: Large Format Landscapes
Wow, nice. While it doesn't have the dramatic lighting, there's still something special about it...great shot.
Re: Large Format Landscapes
I like the shot. The lighting seems to give it a lot of depth..kinda draws you in.

Kind of a left over from Great Sand Dunes National Park. This was after I exposed a few other 4x5 slides. The light came and went in less than 10 minutes. Here it was waning. Not sure what I was composing but it was super quick and with a 210mm that was on for a photo before this. Kind of in between being not long enough and not wide enough for me.
4x5 Velvia 50
Crown Graphic Special
Graphic Kowa 210mm
f/32
Several seconds exposure, can't remember how many.
Hi Zaitz , Not as good as the one that will be hanging in my wall when it comes back from the framers;), But still pretty good Cheers Gary

Thank you. The lighting on the mountains is much better in this one. The sun was working through bits of clouds erratically. Be hard to complain it never lined up for me though.

Thank you. Hope you like the print. I have to get some acrylic for mine....the matte is starting to warp without it :D. Probably be a good idea for an art fair I am doing next month.
I'd love to go back there and camp on the dunes for many days.

Not really sure what to make of this. 16" B&L RR mounted on a Speed Graphic. Underexposed and poorly developed. For some reason I like it.
