Dear Allen and Tony,
Thank you for your comments... :)
Many of my images are captured in the late afternoon, if not close to sunset, or even later in the evening. Our sun does not set until 10:00 pm during the peak summer hours at this latitude, and still later as I head north from Calgary. The wind happens to be my continuous unbeatable rival while out and about in Alberta's southwest during the day for several reasons, so I wait until the wind is quieter during the latter part of the day. Periodically, the strong winds are still present at the higher elevations during the late evening causing the clouds to look as though they are torn apart, therefore assisting with the drama.
Again, thank you both.

Posting any images in this thread seems presumptuous, especially another image of Yosemite Motif Number One. In all the pictures made of Half Dome from Glacier Point, this is one of them. But it's the only one I made.
This is from a trip in June, 1992. The negative was a bit fogged for reasons I still haven't determined, and I was never able to print this in a traditional darkroom to my liking. But Photoshop tools are more powerful, at least in my hands, and I'm really happy to see this image resurrected.

Dear mandoman7,
Great images... :)
The railroad crossing reminds me of a scene in a classic movie.
Nicely done.

Great images everyone... :)
One last image from July 2008, before I return to my real world tasks tomorrow morning, where I must shake the "Calgary Stampede" dust from my boots, my head, and my hat, if I can find them. Widow week ends tonight...
