These photos have nothing to do with reality...:D :D :D
If you want to move to europe and find a beautifull place to shoot seascapes you should go to Scotland, there you will find a large number of excellent spots, see Joe Cornish photos.
Portugal has some good spots but you must know the coast VERY well to find some good spots. I know very well the west coast (about 350 miles) and therefore I can go directly to the good spots when sky is ok but, probably, someone who doesn't know it so well will hardly find a good spot to shoot.
As I am also a professional musician, I travel a lot, for the last 30 years, so I know all the west coast. Next year I will be travelling to explore the south coast, Algarve.
