seascape / tidal pool. first landscape with the 4x5, and first long exposure shot... ever, i think? Of the 4 negatives i shot this was the only one with anything on it! i really do need to read up and get a grasp on reciprocity failure and shooting dusk/dawn/twilight landscapes.

If you want to fix it fast, try Fuji Acros, I found no reciprocity failure at all, with 4 minutes exposure, indexed to 64 asa, developed in Rodinal 1+25 at 68F for 7:30, continuous agitation. I shot these night seascape photos with medium format, so I can't upload here but you can see one of these session photos here: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=10881851
Thanks, I loved shooting Across 100 in medium format. I only have a box of Foma 100, which is not well suited to long exposures. When I purchase some more film, I'll check out Across 100 in 4x5.
Ok, now I know why you did have problems with reciprocity failure. I use Fomapan 100 in 4x5 and 8x10 formats, that's why I shot those night seascapes with medium format. Fuji Acros is a cheap film in 35mm and 120 but, extremely expensive in large format.
With Fomapan 100, it's very hard to shoot that kind of photos. For a lightmeter indication of 100 second, you must expose Fomapan 100 for 16 minutes!!! Then, you must reduce your development for about 25% of the time. This is because reciprocity failure is much more evident on shadows then in highlights, so you must reduce contrast in development. Not an easy film for that purpose, Fomapan 100...
Gentlemen,
Merci...
Allen, I am glad that Nana and I were able to entertain your guests... :)
Again, thank you.

Great images everyone... :)
mrladewig, your fall colours are soft, subtle, and wondrous.
A recent image, captured on April Fool's Day, while out and about just before sunset, and just before I got soaked.
