I can't seem to get blue tones like that from Fuji 160. What do you expose at?
Hi Corran,
Expose at 160, but I usually go over by a half stop. I worked on the scan in Photoshop with curves to get these colours.
Thanks, Sam. Certainly not the first photo taken at this spot, and certainly not the last to be sure. But I think I made this image my own. The clouds were moving left-to-right and thankfully I was slow in setting up and did not get the clouds centered as I originally planned. For me the interaction between the face of the hill and the clouds give the image energy that would have been otherwise missing with the clouds centered.
Nice 617 davidbogdan. Is that from the nice sunset we had here in Michigan last week? Is that lake by Brighton? I'm up in St John's.
Thanks for the comments!! And yes Panoman617, although not last week, the shot is from Kensington Metro Park just a few miles east of Brighton.;)
