Thanks for the comments/compliments. Erik - a friend just gave me The Negative (paperback) a couple weeks ago, but I don't remember anything like that on the cover! (I'm not at home now, so can't look at it.) It seems like the books in that series have a variety of cover images, depending maybe on hardback vs. paperback or which edition? Or maybe I'm just not that observant... :D
But I think you are referring to his image from the Oceano dunes, which I find interesting in its dissimilarity to the zillion images the Westons made there. If any of you like B&W dune images, the book "Dune" of Edward and Brett's dune images is a must see/have - it is actually almost too much, in terms of the number of stellar images.
H20man, great detail and wonderful image.

Greg, this is what I meant.
That's what I guessed. My paperback has Figure 6-1 (Thundercloud over Unicorn Peak) on the cover.

The morning after attending Paul Caponigro's public talk :)
I think that is one of the most contrasty photos I have seen of yours, Ken.
Looking at your photo I can tell that it was a real good talk! :)

I found his talk very stimulating to the creative imagination.
