Eight 16x20 plates. 4 days. Chamonix camera and Dallmeyer 21x25 RR. My friend/assistant went a little heavy on the sepia tone on his phone.

Thank you, Jonathan. I have to say, the challenge of a montage is hitting the tones and seams with a semblance of continuity. I've never tried it before. For sure a smaller group of plates forming a larger is tougher than a single large plate, at least based on my limited experience (over 4 days). Having said that, a single large plate sure has visual impact -- nothing to argue there. (and tough to do!) Ed
