The road was the stage coach road, then became a one-way car road, into the Valley. Ansel mentions it in his autobio., I believe -- and the need to get there in time to travel on it as traffic changed direction at set times.

I like this one. These often look monochrome, when done in color, but you have balanced the yellow of the leaves with the vegetation on the ground to frame the aspens, it works quite well I think.

Great tree pattern against the sky. Love the groupings. I might consider burning down the road tracks a little. I find it pulling my attention a little out of the image, but minor stuff. Well done.
