Re: Large Format Landscapes
It has been really so so long time ago since i came here and to comment, i got so ....ed in life and many things happened and changed my situations, i hope i can return back to photography before it is too late or i die and never happen, who knows.
So a silly question for you all, from your experience and long time into it, which film as B&W and Color do you prefer or you like the most for landscape with your LF?

On the Flickr page for your photo, there's a curved arrow symbol for "share photo". Click that, then in the popup that opens go to the "BBCode" tab. In that tab there is a drop-down list where you can choose a size of preview you want for the photo with embedded link. Make the selection, then copy and paste the resulting code in the box above to the forum here. Et voila.

Thanks Gabe. I tried that originally and for some reason, it didn't work. But it's working now. So now I can't delete the small picture even when I erase that when editing. Do you know how to do that?

You mean the attachment? Not sure as I don't think I've ever used the attachment function on this forum. I assume there will be a way for you to delete it, or a mod could perhaps.

Yes the attachment. When I erase it when editing, it doesn't disappear after I Save it. Does anyone know how to get rid of the little attachment photo?

Great composition! I very rarely compose vertically with my 4x5 camera. But this composition screams for it.

Re: Large Format Landscapes
Thank you! I find it difficult not to compose vertical since I was 14 :D

Nice shot Dave. Some leaves in the closest foreground seem a little blue on my monitor. Yet other leaves appear green. I wonder if that's because of more shade where they're blue? In any case, maybe a warming filter would help or you can adjust that out in editing.

Thank you for your comment. I have printed this out at A3+ and the colours look good to me. So I'm happy as is. Though I do have a set of warm-up filters I don't think I'd use these with Ektachrome E100 because one of the film characteristics that this would risk distorting would the Kodak warmth already in the highlights and midtones (I might use them with Fujichrome: Provia, for instance, or Velvia with lots of green).

Thank you, Alan. Indeed, HP5 is amazing. The films do show some base fog. However it's still very useable. I have some 12x20 FP4, which have even more base fog.
