I can't quite put my finger on why, but I like this shot as well. You definitely showed some restraint with saturation, which I appreciate.

I've come back to this shot a few times myself. Nice subtle colors (something I am apparently completely unable to do), interesting contrast between cool blue/greys and warm highlights in the rocks and, interestingly enough, in the new and old walkway railings and supports also, and there is a definite rule-of-thirds thing going on following the rocks from lower left to upper right with the tree limb turning it back down before it exits the image. It has grown on me.
