Have you developed an unexposed sheet to gauge what the fog is like? Had some HIE a few years ago with blotchy fog that was quite unusable.
Here’s the test for my current box of HIE - top is just fixed, bottom developed and fixed. Definitely fogged, but evenly.Attachment 179177

Shot on 4x5 HIE that expired in 1967. Wratten #25 filter. EI 12. Developed in Pyrocat-HD. Kallitype print on Hahnemuhle.

I think this is the 8th season of taking a picture of these trees. They are getting consumed by the shifting sand. I use to be able to stand in front of them on a relatively level surface. Now I'm on a very steep slope struggling to take a similar perspective as the prior years.
