Could you please elaborate on your decision to remove my latest post in this thread as not LF?
That picture was made with a Linhof Technorama (bought in 1992) producing negatives measuring 6x17 cm which have a surface of 102 cm2 on an emulsion (Fomapan 100) which is exactly the item of this thread.
As you might know, a 4"x5" is measuring 125cm2, so don't tell me that a nearly 23 cm2 is really making that difference, seeing this in the light of the results, AND the demanding knowledge and experience to handel that kind of (panoramic-) camera.
BTW, the lens used is exactly the same as on a 'traditional' LF camera: Schneider-Kreuznach Super-Angulon 90mm F5.6.
Allow me to add, that due to health issues, I can't haul my Linhof Kardan GT 4x5 (bought in 1991) anymore around because I can't handel this one as it is to heavy, the Technorama has become my substitute LF now...
Also, I can't afford a lighter wooden folding LF and the more expensive sheet film, as my health forced me out of business after nearly 35 years of being a self employed professional photographer (working with 4"x5" and 13x18cm).

There is a thread on this site for 6x17 images, and I agree with Oren that Technorama images should be there. I also have a 6x17 camera and have never considered it as large format.[/I]

I have a box of 200 I'll be trying out this week.
I have to say the tonality of many of these (at least on my laptop) are quite reminiscent of Plus-X. It had its critics but I always like the look.

Hello, does anyone know if the reciprocity failure chart for the Fomapan 100 are reliable?
I mean, it is a very steep curve with values like those:
1s = 2s
4s = 21s
8s = 59s
May I consider that chart as still valid?

Well, it goes along with what Foma published officially, so why not?
My experience confirms it too.
And for that reason not practical for long night exposures. FP4+ is a much better choice for that
