Thanks for all this information. Down the road I think I would like one of those non modern designs.
My initial concern was that maybe some of the aperture blades where non working. A problem I had a while back with an old summarit. Now that I know my lens is in good shape, I am excited to to give it a go. Hoping I can see with the f8, but from reading maybe it is not too big a deal.
