October - put up or shut up
I was going to request that October be a month of throttling those with high post counts to give us a break from the armchair experts who comment on every thread and bicker about the small details. Then I realized they do offer some good advice even if we get mired in the differences in various users techniques. I can also just ignore them.
Instead I challenge those with high post counts to put up an image to show off their skills or an example of what they so passionately write about. A phone capture of a print or scan of negative will do.

I have plenty of opinions about optics and emulsion, so as penitence..
8x10 J Lane Speed Plate Ortho 25 dry plate of Max and his wife Kelly. Max is a mechanical engineer who recently joined Pictoriographica to help grow the business. Scan of the plate itself and a photo of the print...it printed directly to Grade 2 paper which I was really happy about.

5x7 dry plate of the victor in a viscous backyard barbarian battle. This plate is from the first batch of plates that I sold back in Dec 2017...a reject that I recently discovered in a holder. So I shot it.

Latest solid model render of dry plate holders can be seen in my kickstarter thread.
That’s probably good for another year of armchair commentary.
Cheers,

And not seriously offended by being lumped into a category -- perhaps just slightly miffed.
But I'll repost my most recent print...

Not sure just what got into the water here... but whatever it was, did.
