Two great images, Peter, in all aspects.

I have to agree, wonderful portrait and a dedicated studio is a great thing.
Beautiful sitters are also a huge help.

I use to - really often - test recent acquired old gear with my relatives, family members, anybody who's around and I can work with to get the shot done.
Like a lot of people here, what could we do without having a wife around the house?

Re: Tiny Format Portraits
I appreciate the supportive comments. Thanks! Janice helped me move some stuff into the studio, and she was kind enough to let me take some shots sans makeup. It's a small room, but it's such a relief to have a dedicated space. It's in an art gallery. They have a number of small rooms upstairs that artists can rent. Mine is about 17 feet long and 12 foot wide on the big end, with a 10 foot ceiling. The camera end narrows to 7.5 feet. The walls are light gray. I painted the background wall with a couple of shades of gray using the Woolie, a faux finishing tool.
While I used digital today, the plan is to move to my recently acquired Fuji GX680; and the long term goal is to get my Century No. 9 8x10 studio camera up-and-running. I've seen some very good work here with xray film, and using that would make 8x10 portraiture affordable for me.
