Re: post "in Galli style"
Thanks Dugan! I'm the student, he is the teacher and inspiration to get out and shoot.

Very nice
This would make a real nice cyanotype if you like alt processes.

I bought a little single lens meniscus in shutter from the "Great Mr. Galli" back around 2005 and it sat in my camera bag for about 5-6 years before I decided to try it out. After developing the film it sat in my files until now. I've been sheltering in place since the beginning March so I decided to pull the negative out and scan it. Jim, I hope it meets your approval.

99% of you don't care and that's great, but for the other 8 of you who used to follow my funny little web site for the different soft focus lens comparisons, I finally figured out how to put together some new WYSIWYG pages with KompoZer.
Photrio is now the ONLY forum where I have any presence. I'm totally gone (and not missed) at the other place. Ce La Vie.
I hadn't put up any new pages at my little site because Netscape Composer got so old it didn't work any more, and I was busy hauling home ridiculous antique cars and neglecting the web pages. I never really stopped making photos though. So, FWIW, here is a link that takes you to 2 new pages I just built today!! Yippee.

I knew you'd be excited! I'm the inverse of gone but not forgotten. Forgotten but not gone.
No cookie cutter web site for me! Oh no, I'm keeping the quirky weird 1992 one alive!

Jim, ....I miss your homepage: tonopahpictures.....
Re: post "in Galli style"
So sorry to read Jim G's quote above...I really miss his (truly great!) presence here.
Re: post "in Galli style"
What is Jim's handle at APUG?
I also miss him, and he sold good deals
What I liked best, was he shot at home or close to it
'fine art' be damned
Re: post "in Galli style"
Pretty sure it’s jimgalli.
