Checking the lens wide open on my new to me early 1950s Fujica folder. The portability of this camera, combined with great rangefinder and very good lens are exactly what I was looking for.
This image at f3.5 is, to me, decent.

IE: there are a couple of presets for FP4 developed in Xtol, presets for Delta 100 developed in Pyrocat HD, etc. I start with one of those presets and then (usually) make other minor adjustments for shadow detail, overall brightness - that sort of thing. I find Silver Efex to be a remarkably versatile tool, if working with digital edits of film negatives is something you find fits in your creative tool kit. I use these tools with the goal of creating inkjet prints that mimic how I print in the darkroom. I prefer silver gelatin prints (on Fomatone Classic, which comes close to Agfa Portriga Rapid!) but I don't always want to limit myself to making contact prints of my large negatives: some of these images work better in larger sizes, to reveal the richness of detail.
I'd love to see your larger prints, I bet they're spectacular.

I had to defrost the film freezer, and in the bottom where the powdered chemicals live, I found my stock of Diafine and Acufine. It will be hard to see so much of it in one place at one time since it has become impossible to find!

Thanks. Perhaps I should have mentioned that I used a NDX400 filter as well.

I never tire of spending time with "The Old Man", during the brief time before the river swells and hides him from view for the next 6 months.
Photographed on Ilford Delta 400, with the Kodak Medalist II. Look closely and see what an amazing lens this Ektar is.
Approximately 3 seconds at F22.
Film processed in Pyrocat HD, 16 minutes at 21C.
Paul, I’m really enjoying you images of the subject.

This is a Joro Spider, on my front porch, originally from Japan. It has recently made its way to north GA and has been establishing itself heavily in the area. While invasive, it so far seems to not have caused any issues to the local environment. However, it's a bit concerning how common they've become. Recently I visited my dad's house down about an hour away and he had over a dozen nests of them in his front bushes, and along the road into town in the morning I see the characteristic webs on the power lines, a LOT of them. At work there is 2-3 in every bush and in every tree.

I've been observing this female for the last couple weeks since noticing it. While similar to the big Golden Orb Weavers common in south GA and FL, they're web-spinning behavior seems different, trending towards small out-of-the-way webs that they keep in good condition, unlike the big Orb Weavers I'm used to that like to make a big web out in the middle of trails but are gone by mid-morning. I don't mind spiders luckily, and I even saw one take out a hornet a couple weeks ago, so she can stay.
