Hello from San Francisco!!
Hey!
My name is Joey. I am super excited about joining this form. I currently have a Intrepid camera but I am looking to upgrade (Chamonix 45N-1/45N-2) and drive into the deep end of LF. I have5 lenses rn all Nikon Nikkor --- 65mm F/4 , 90mm F/8 , 135 F/5.6 , 180mm F/5.6 and 300mm F/9.
Re: Hello from San Francisco!!
Welcome, Joey. This is a great forum. You have more than twice the lenses I have. What kind of work is most interesting to you,or do you just love it all? Have you worked in other film (or digital) formats before?
Be sure to look carefully through the home page here; there is a great deal of LF info.
Looking forward to seeing your work!
Re: Hello from San Francisco!!
Thank you Phillip. Yeah I have done everything from 35mm , medium format , instant photography and LF. I like it all in terms of LF I like landscapes and portraits mostly. Still really new to anything bigger than 6x9.
Re: Hello from San Francisco!!
That's a great collection of lenses for a someone starting in LF.

Your LF journey begins..
What makes this LF view camera stuff SO different from the fixed lens/box base cameras previously used is the ability to "bend" the camera to aid in focus and image control. To get the very most out of any view camera take the time to read over this previous post from a Linhof book on camera movements and what they can do to control focus and control the film image being created.

Be ready to burn LOTs of film and much more during the learning how to LF process,
Bernice
