Thanks! Just moved up to 11x14 from 8x10 and am still working hard to get clean plates. This was my best effort so far.

Its depends how you want to achieve.
The lens and the focal length was chosen for proper plate size.

Very nice! How on Earth did you manage a one-pop exposure at only 400ws? That's some fast collodion! Or a lot of additional natural light?
