I also cut 20x24 in half for 12x20 contact print. I like your 14x24 cutting. Thanks!

I use a big piece of ANR plexiglass with metal handles on the edge to weigh down the negative and paper. Since there's no lip or edge, I can align the paper and negative easily. Back when I started doing contact prints, I just used 16x20 paper or 20x24 paper cut in half for 8x20 and 12x20 prints exactly. I could tell in the darkroom if the paper / negative was misaligned.
That said, lately I've used 20x24 paper cut down to about 14x24 for contact prints, giving me a bit more wiggle room both for the print and for mounting with the edges showing (about 13x21). I can use the strip I cut off for test strips.
However I am experimenting with photo corners for mounting to foam board as a different way of presentation, so might go back to the exact print size method.
Nice print btw.

Thanks Martin. I plan to print this for sure.

Nicely done! I wait for a lens board to mount my Symmar 360/620mm convertible and use it on my FS 12x20.
