Looking For Lab That Can Process 4x5 Color Negatives
Hello,
I live in Baltimore, MD. Can somebody recommend a really good lab on the East Coast for processing my 4x5 sheet film? I'm looking for somebody who's clean and won't process with scratches, color casts, etc.
Thanks.
Ben

DodgeChrome, Silver Spring, MD of course. They do dip and dunk and you can drive there...

Dodge currently processes my 4x5s but I've been seeing some color shifts coming out of my negs lately. I was wondering if there might be a good alternative in the area so I could do a comparison of sorts.

Have you asked them?
Are you using fresh dated, properly stored film?

No I have not asked them. I use brand new film properly stored. I don't know for sure why I am seeing the shifts; I figured I would try another film processor to see if the shifts are on my end.

They can tell you that.

Aside from the little clip marks on my negatives, I can’t recommend DodgeChrome highly enough and have never seen an issue with color shift due to chemicals, though I don’t shoot much C-41. Ask for Dave Bair, if you aren’t Already working with him.
