This was an early photo of mine. A petzval mounted on a copal3, on a Omega 4x5. TriX in Rodinal.
I had the camera preset to a specific point, but found a better shot, but as I turned the camera on the tripod (mounted on rocks on a jetty)
the level was lost.
Anyways, here's the shot. f4 no-name brass lens, slight vignetting.

Wow, Maris, that's one complex and tricky scene to compose, beautifully handled. The eye never tires of exploring. Although your technique and vision is quite different, the lyricism of this image immediately reminded me of Peter Henry Emerson.

The vignette really adds to this image in my view, as though taken through a telescope, even the un level horizon invokes observing from the pitching deck of a ship. Very nice indeed and thanks for sharing.
