On going Imacon Scanner Issues on Windows 10

Good Day, I have used an Imacon 343 scanner since 2005. After moving away from Windows 7 it has been difficult to keep working. Usually, the computer doesn't see the scanner. Then after getting it working, (again), a windows update would clobber it (again).

I have reached some resolution and have a reliable formula I am now using, there is a very brief write up on my website http://scanner-info.lfreytag.com.
